Candle Ritual

The Art of a Warm Welcome

FESTIVE ARRIVAL & CANDLE RITUAL

Some celebrations begin before the first invitation is opened.

At Sofitel Dubai Downtown, the season welcomes guests with the comforting aroma of gingerbread, the richness of hot chocolate and a refreshing festive mocktail.

At 6pm each evening, the signature Candle Ritual introduces a different rhythm. Inspired by the Parisian tradition of illuminating the City of Lights, Heartists move through the hotel in an elegant procession, lighting candles to the accompaniment of music and attire influenced by Emirati heritage.

A living expression of Sofitel’s Cultural Link, the ritual brings French inspiration and local tradition into a single, graceful moment.
